Let's Celebrate!

Sunday was Party Day at our house...
All dressed up and ready to party!

You'll notice football is on in the background the whole time.
Thats what happens when you're born during the playoffs!

A little confused as to why everyone was
staring and singing.

Mmmm...cake.

And now off to Papa and Grandma's to watch the big game...

Yeah!  The Packers are going to the Super Bowl!

"I'm gonna wash that cake right out of my hair..."

Swimming in a Sea of Cheerios

The Bean found the Cheerios.  And opened them.  And then went swimming in them.

Diving right in!

Hmmm...these are on the floor.  Should I eat them?
Sure!  Why not?

Snip, Snip

Saturday was a big day for the Bean...she had her first haircut!  She was quite the trooper and only cried when the blowdryer was turned on.  Now she's sporting a cute little bob.

Technical Difficulties

Ugh.  I have a video to share with you today, only I can't get it to upload.  Hopefully I'll figure it out over the weekend.  For now I must shower before my window closes!

Happy Friday!

Extra Layers

Okay, so Willa's long johns actually leggings and I must have worn mine last winter when I was pregnant with her because the waist band is super stretched out, but they are just what we need to keep us toasty warm while out and about, embracing the cold!

One Handed Chicken

I got this dinner idea from who else, my mom.   Its quick, yummy, and you can make it with one hand while you hold your 11 month hold with the other.

First, while your child is temporarily distracted, chunk up your chicken and put it in a 9x13 baking dish.  Right about this time your child will notice you are no longer in plain sight and want you to pick them up.  No problem, the rest of dinner can be made with just one hand!

In a small bowl, mix a little olive oil with one or two scoops of this.

To that add half a jar of this.

Pour that mixture over your chicken and toss it all together.  Cover with foil and bake at 400 until your husband comes home.  Serve over rice.
